Moelleux au Chocolat and Typhoon Fitow

It's been cloudy with a giant meatball the whole day..with rain on and off..and we have been hibernating..kids with the gadgets..favourite series on tv, CSI & CSI NY back to back since this morning and I got to peel myself off the couch or else kids will go for hunger strike...hb said they can cook if they are not happy..luv you darling..

Few days ago, we received the alert about the Typhoon Fitow through FB. And almost everyday we -"moms" in school talked about it..exciting isn't it? One of the lady said, her husband received the alert and the shipyard where he work might get affected this tuesday..Just hope the typhoon will change course and everything will be alright.

And with this crappy weather..our stomachs screaming: We're Hungry! Feed Us! We want Chocolate! Uh-oh..make it Chocolate Cake..

With that..I recruit my not-to-little chef to do it..and she's willingly to make it..Big YAY. The recipe were quite simple, and basically she just need me to supervise her for the bain marie.

Moelleux au Chocolat

Ingredients:
200 g cooking chocolate, chopped roughly
125 g butter
6 eggs
220 g sugar
90 g all purpose flour
1 tbsp of baking powder

Preheat oven at 180*C. Prepare the baking tray or individual ramequins with the parchment paper.

Place chopped chocolate and butter in a heat resistant bowl and place it over a water bath (bain marie).

Beat eggs and sugar until it thick and pale. Beat in flour and the baking powder, add in the chocolate mixture. Pour the batter into the prepared baking tray.

Bake for about 30 minutes. Allow to cool before cutting. Serve warm or room ambiance..

And now mama going to have her warm moelleux au chocolat with a nice cup of coffee...and hoping for the typhoon to go away

Merci Louisa pour cette delicieux gateau
